I WISH THAT EVERYONE THAT HAS EVER MET MY BUBBY, COULD ONLY KNOW HIM AS I DID. FROM THE TIME I WAS BORN UNTIL A FEW DAYS AGO, HE WAS MY PROTECTOR AND MY HERO. I TRULY BELIEVE THERE WAS NOTHING MY BUBBY WOULDN'T DO FOR HIS JUJU ! I FIND PEACE IN KNOWING THAT HE KNEW I LOVED HIM WITH ALL OF MY HEART AND SOUL. ALL OF MY LIFE I NEVER FELT AS SAFE AS I WAS WHEN MY BUBBY WAS NEAR. I THINK HE WOULD HAVE JUMPED THROUGH FIRE TO PROTECT ME. YEA I KNOW THAT HE MAY HAVE TRIED TO BE A HARD ASS AT TIMES, BUT IT ALWAYS ENDED IN A SMILE OR A LAUGH. AND I CAN TRULY SAY, THERE WAS NOTHING IN THIS WORLD THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE DONE FOR HIM AND MAW. SO I WILL CONTINUE TO BE THERE FOR HER AND JAMIE. BUBBY YOU MAY BE IN HEAVEN NOW. BUT I KNOW THAT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WATCHING OVER US. I LOVE YOU FOREVER, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. BICYCLE !
We are not sure where to start as we are still in shock from the phone call of your passing. You made so many people laugh. Gene and I will always remember you with fond memories and are so very glad that you were our friend. We talked about you today and reminisced of the many "Butch quotes" - Trashy, Trollop, Whatevvverrr, Give me a quickie, One more Momma, Hello, Walls, Glad you got to see me, etc. and last but not least, make sure that your hair is in place. You were caring and always asked how I was doing and to take care of myself. You acted tough, but once you got through the outer core, you were really a softy and put others before yourself. Please watch over your beloved Frances Carol and the rest of your family. We will remember the nicknames you bestowed on us, Gene Bean and Wendy Poo! We will miss you pulling in our driveway and honking the horn for Gene to come out to check your car and talk to him. May you dance in the streets of Heaven and in true Butch fashion, "OOOWWW, GET IT" with your dancing shoes on! Thanks for the memories. You are gone but will never be forgotten. RIP our friend!
Sincerely,
Wendy & Gene Frye
