William Thomas Kallal's Obituary
William Thomas Kallal, 81, formerly of La Grange, IL, died Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Novant Health Systems UVA Culpeper Hospital. He was born June 5, 1942 in Chicago, IL to the late Dr. Thomas Kallal and Mildred Kallal.
William was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam. He loved his family most of all, but his dogs, Tara Dog, Buddy, and Koko were a close second. William enjoyed watching TV, and enjoyed his donuts and frappuccinos. He was known as a prankster and had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Rae Kallal; his children, William Thomas Kallal, Jr. (Holly), Mark Edward Kallal (Emily), Tara Rae Kallal, Jason Robert Kallal (Kelly), and Lance Eric Tuomey (Marie); eight grandchildren, Ryan, Aidan, Dillon, Emma, Abby, Hannah, Carter, and Casey; one brother, Thomas Kallal (Helen); one sister-in-law, Faye Kallal; cousin, Joanne Clancy; and a number of well loved nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by one brother, John Kallal.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday January 5, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Joseph Vu officiating.

Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA. Honors will be provided by the US Army and VFW Post 2524.
