A true friend since we moved to Lagrange in 1978, right across the street. Saturday morning breakfasts for years, first at McDonalds and then all over the Southwest side. Watched our dog Noel when we went on vacation, we would come home and he would greet us at our kitchen counter. His Xmas outside decorations were elaborate, so much so I gave up trying and just put a sign in my window, "See across the street".
Potatoe gun, parties at the Kallal’s . Bill always had a smile on his face & welcomed everyone. I remember while recouping from a hospital stay & not supposed to be out & about he came up to me in the Hallmark shop & said, “don’t tell Bobbie I’m here. I just wanted to her a Mother’s Day card.” Of course with a smile on his face & twinkle in his eye! Eugenia
