Hutchinson Family,
I just wanted you to know that I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Hutchinson. I had the opportunity of working under his administration at Kilby when I first relocated to Virginia and couldn't have worked for a finer person. May you find strength in knowing that he's now resting in perfect peace and that God has a welcome mat prepared just for him. May he continue to bless and comfort each of you during those difficult days to come.

Today is June 2, 2010--I just got the sad news of Mr. H's passing---I wish I would have found out sooner so that I could have properly said good-bye. I first met Mr. H when he was the asst. principal of my elementary school Potomac View. What a truly one of a kind man and role model he was for so many people. Through my teenage years when I would visit the Hutchinson house with my friend Jeanie, it was always a place of laughter and fun--I can still see the "Steeler-mobile" parked in front of the house and being greeted by Sam, his German Shepard with the Bearnstein Bear claw! (inside joke). As college approached, Melissa and I became closer, eventually becoming roomates at Radford University--I felt like I was part of the family because that's how the Hutchinson's are--just warm and caring people! Unfortuantely, things happen in life that separate friends and it's times like now when I look back that I wish I had parents like the Hutchinson's and a dad like Mr. H. who would have supported me and encouraged me to finish what I had started, but I didn't.
I want to say thank you to Jesus Christ for giving the world such a great gift as Mr. H., he was truly a gift from God and I am blessed to have known him! You will never be forgotten Mr. H.---My thoughts are with the whole Hutchinson family, Denise Alexander

Pattie, Bill, Melissa, Erica, Brent and all of you little ones, I am truly sorry for your loss. I want to thank you for sharing Bill with the rest of us. Bill was a friend to me in so many ways. The impact he had on my life, I will always be indebted to him. Bill thanks for caring about me when I didn't have enough sense to care about myself. Thanks for helping me make sense of life issues. Thanks for all of the encouragement you gave me. Thanks for all of the laughs. Most of all thank you for allowing me to be apart of your family. I will always continue to watch Steeler's football knowing that you will be close by. Rest in peace my friend you will live in my heart forever.
