On behalf of my mother, Patricia Dinkins, send her condolences to the family. Mr. Chapman was her one of her best friends. When I was a little baby my mother would take me to the basketball games. Mr. Chapman would go take me from my mother for a moment before the game begin. I never got the pleasure to meet him personally but knowing that story from my mother tells me a lot about him...caring heart and a true friend. My condolences to my friend Anita and family.... I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of "Pee Wee." It seems like only yesterday that we all in high school, living and loving life. I wish I could physically be there for you during this time, but please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I realize that you, especially, will miss "Pee Wee" a great deal but know that he is another angel in heaven looking over you and the family. As Brother Chapman’s former pastor and friend, I want you and everyone else to know that Pee Wee was indeed a faithful, special and kind friend. I was fortunate to have been a close friend of the Chapman family and upon becoming Pastor of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church I observed and attest to him as a faithful parishioner and dear brother! You and Brother Pee Wee will always hold a special place in my heart for all you have done for my family and your fellow church family. Certainly Pee Wee and you were God sent to my ministry and for this I praise God!
Unfortunately, I am unable to physically be with you in this Homegoing Service, but please know that my love is extended and prayers are being rendered unto God!
