William Ellis Burke's Obituary
William Ellis Burke, 78, of Boston, died Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his home. He was born December 4, 1942 to the late Woodrow Burke and the late Esther Potter.
William was a simple man. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and helping others. He was often found on his mower, caring for his pristine yard. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids.
William is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Burke; two children, Dawn Fincham (Randy) and Mitchell Burke (Yvette); two siblings, Bernice Elfwick and Judd Burke (Juanita); one sister-in-law, Dorothy Beck (Roy); two grandchildren, Stacy Frazier (Steven) and Nicole Harlow (Joey); four great grandchildren, Ashley Frazier, Logan Frazier, Jillian Harlow and Davis Harlow; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Willie Potter and one grandson Danny Woodward.
Services will be private.
