I was very surprised and sad to hear of Diane's passing. I truly enjoyed working with her at Aquadrill and always liked to chat with her on the phone. She was always willing to go the extra mile and worked hard at whatever she did. Aquadrill will not be the same without her. My sympathies to Jeff Joslyn and all the crew at Aquadrill.##imported-begin##Sue Leimkuehler##imported-end##
Let me add my fond memories to those of fellow U-High elementary friends, Karl and Bill. I, too, recall the co-ed birthday parties on the north end even before they were fashionable. I switched to the public system, but had the frequent joy of seeing Diane around town. Later, she had tickets to Iowa wrestling meets close to ours at the old Fieldhouse. Diane's smile and the twinkle in her eyes let you know that you were a friend.
She will be missed by all that knew her.##imported-begin##Bob Dane##imported-end##
Diane will be missed by all of us at Team Hydro that have used Aquadrill on drilling projects during the past several years. She was always willing to work with us and was just a great person to deal with on the phone. In fact, she was the voice of Aquadrill. We wish the best to her family and friends in this time of loss.##imported-begin##Bill Simpkins and Team Hydro at ISU##imported-end##
I was so saddened to hear of Diane's death. She was a very good friend through elementary school and high school and one of the stalwarts of our class at U-High. I remember brother Jeff, particularly, from our childhood and the family home near north Dodge street. Diane used to ride her bike to school and stopped early one morning for help with a skinned knee. I was delighted to visit with her at one of the few U-High reunions our class had and to discover years later what terrific contributions she made to her profession and the broader community. I am so sorry for her loss--and particularly for family and friends who regularly shared her good nature and cheerfulness.##imported-begin##Karl Hickerson##imported-end##
It's been a long time since school days at University Elementary School, but I fondly remember Diane as one of the special students among a class filled with excellence. Our paths have gone very separate ways since those days, but I always considered her to be one of those school mates who made up the rememberences of early childhood. It is good to know that she was able to make such a strong contribution to her family and community. It is sad to hear of her life ending so soon.##imported-begin##William Means##imported-end##

Grief overwhelms us. You left us all too soon. Memories of our 40+ years of friendship comfort us. Music calms our souls.
The words to Josh Groban's song You Lift Me Up expresses our feelings far better than we can.
When I am down, and oh my soul so weary
When troubles come and my heart burdened be
Then I am still and wait here in the silence
'Til you come and sit a while with me.
You raise me up so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be.
Thanks for being so strong for all of us. You were more than we can ever be.
Shalom, dear friend.##imported-begin##Chris and Valerie##imported-end##
I was truly loss when hearing of Diane's passing. She was a person that I looked forward to seeing and chatting with. She was pleasant, so cheerful and had a wonderful wit and sense of humor. I will never forget her big smile and the sparkle in her eye when we exchanged quips and stories. She touched many and will be missed. My sympathies to Jeff and and her brother, Jeff and all the folks at Aquadrill.##imported-begin##Bill Duffy##imported-end##
Diane was one person who never ceased to amaze me with her combination of knowledge, professionalism, and sense of humor. How could she identify my voice after only hearing one word on the telephone? I looked forward to every conversation I had with her, work-related and not. She was someone that I looked up to and admired but she was also a friend and someone that I will sorely miss. I know of no one like her and am a better person for having known her.##imported-begin##Mick Leat##imported-end##
