Wayne Michael Orme's Obituary
Wayne Michael Orme, 72, of Culpeper passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 at UVA Culpeper Hospital. He was born April 11, 1942 in Washington DC to the late Roderick and Alice Pettit Orme.
Mr. Orme resided in the Culpeper area for the past 12 years and was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. He was an active volunteer at UVA Culpeper Hospital and Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. Prior to moving to Culpeper Mr. Orme was an active member of the Knights of Columbus at the Good Samaritan Council in Sterling, VA.
He is survived by one brother, Roderick Burr Orme and his wife, Carrol of Fountain, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Glenn Bucci and his wife, Diane of Pawleys Island, SC, Sharon Suess of Temple Hills, MD, Kevin Orme and his wife, Heather of Houston, TX, Michele Orme and her husband, Thomas Alcorn of Mead, CO, Eric Orme and his wife, Nicki of Panama City, FL and Michael Orme of Raiford, FL. In addition to family members Mr. Orme is survived by his very good friends Mr. John Day of Catlett, VA and Joe and Amanda Adams and their sons Charlie & Jacob from Brandy Station, VA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Sondra Lee Bucci, Phillip Royce Orme and Steven Alvin Orme.
The family will receive friends on Sunday November 9, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 114 E Edmondson St., Culpeper, VA with Fr. Anselme Malonda-Nkuanga officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors provided by Culpeper V.F.W. Post 2524.
