Warren Dundas Blatz Jr.'s Obituary
Warren Dundas Blatz, Jr., 81, of Culpeper, VA passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025. He was born April 3, 1943 to the late Warren D. Blatz and Helen Blatz in New York City. Warren is survived by his son Warren D. Blatz, III and wife, Katelyn, along with his brother, Perry K. Blatz and his two sons, Kevin and Bill. In addition to his parents, Warren is preceded in death by his brothers, William M. Blatz and Lawrence P. Blatz, along with his first wife Mary Catherine Blatz, who is the mother of Warren Blatz III.
Warren, after graduating from Franklin and Marshall College, came to Culpeper in the 1970s and spent over 40 years working for the Department of Aging and Rehabilitative services. Within this position, he supported those with disabilities and their path to obtaining employment in our local community. Outside of work, he was a longtime member of the Country Club of Culpeper, even winning the Club Championship in the 1980s. In addition to golf, he could be seen daily at Powell Wellness Center exercising and supporting others to maintain their health.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
