I met Warren in the Fall of 1983 when I moved to Culpeper and became a Job Placement Specialist at FORE workshop in Remington and when I worked with him at the Department of Rehabilitative Services for a few months placing his clients at jobs in the region. Warren was a wonderful mentor and friend. I learned so much from him early in my career. Our kids went to preschool together and I always enjoyed catching up with him when we would run into each other out in the community. My favorite memories of Warren was when he was talking about Buddy, bragging about his golf game, replaying his favorite show from DC 101 and the Greaseman. Warren could always make us laugh at work. Warren helped so many people, and as others have said...he was a faithful public servant. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Warren's family and friends...but especially with Buddy.
