My name is Jerry Cabe and I used to hang our with "Flash" out in California. We worked together at a bar in Long Beach and we had some really fun times. He always made me laugh, and was an honorable an respectful person. I want to express my belated condolences to his family. He will be missed.
I am truly heartbroken. I have known Vincente since high school and attended the Marine Corps JROTC with him. He was the type of person that always made you laugh and was always pulling some sort of shenanigans. He always had a smile on his face and loved life. I lost contact with a lot of people after high school and always wondered how he was doing and when I saw a post on Facebook from a mutual friend I started to cry. He will truly be missed. You will always remain in our hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. You will always remain Semper Fidelis!!!!!
I love and miss you Uncle. I really wish we had more time to connect with each other before you passed. I've always looked up to you and wish I hadn't let so many years go by without talking to you. I was just scared. Nobody knows this but in high school I would carry two pictures in my wallet with me everyday. A picture of Mom, and a picture of you I found in one of my photo albums of when you graduated the military. I remember back when you lived with us. I would always sneak into your room and watch your Beavis and Butthead VHS tapes. I remember going to your house (I don't remember which one) and seeing your Impala in the garage. That was your baby. You were always talking about your Impala. I can say with an exception of an occasional bout of grumpiness I have no bad memories of you, and I'm thankful for that. I will always remember you as that crazy Uncle with an oddly big heart. I hope you find peace and comfort wherever you go from this point. Carry on to the transition with the knowledge that you are loved by so many and you have touched so many in ways you will never understand.
My baby brother………..I miss you so much and the only comfort I get is knowing you are with mom. I am so thankful for the memories we made after your diagnosis especially Jamaica! You made a terrific Captain in a loin cloth! I don't think we could of laughed any harder in all our lives! I will always remember you as that sweet little spoiled blonde hair blue eyed boy who got away with everything! I love you forever and know it will just be a spec in time before we are reunited! And when you come to greet me please be wearing the captains hat and your loin cloth!
Breaks my heart that you've died Vicente...I know you had a love of traveling especially to your roots in Argentina.!!!! I know your at peace and pain free...It's not fair when the good ...die so young!!! Rest in Peace cousin!!! >>>>HUGS<<<<<
Vicente was truly one of a kind. He was always up for anything and sometimes that even meant doing nothing but sitting around chatting over a cup of coffee. I always knew our conversations would contain truth and laughter. He was like the older brother I never had and I will forever carry him in my heart. Until I see you again, my friend...try not to cause too much trouble... ;)
Vicente, was the best brother a girl could ask for! He was my wine and music festival buddy and was always ready to find something new and fun for us to do. I have a life time of memories, and know brother you don't travel alone, when you died a piece of me went with you. Until we see one another again. Namaste
