I worked with Verna from 1977 until she retired. She was a super special lady and she always had a smile on her face....honestly, I can't remember a single moment that she did not. I know that she loved her family with all her heart. Virtual hugs from North Carolina.
Although distance hampered our time with Verna, she was always welcoming. A very kind person who stepped up to help when she could. She will be missed.
It was and is my pleasure to have known you. Even though it only was a couple of years it was great to study alongside of you and receive the wisdom you shared.
