She was always so kind and humble to our family . We will never forget. She was an absolute lovely and genuine person. Our deepest condolences to her family and friends. May the peace and strength of the Lord bestowe on her family, especially in times like this.
I remember the day mom had Susie she has always been my little sister I taught her how to roller skate and we swam and played so many summers away after mom passed away we grew apart for a while but she was always there she was so excited for us my family to come back to live in Virginia where our family is from but more importantly it’s where she was and we came it was so nice to be right down the road from her we would share recipes and most of all we shared my daughter I am so lost and hurt that she is gone last time it snowed really big we went out like children and played in the snow with all the kids I will see my sister again one day and what a sweet day it will be
I have so many memories with Susie… Waiting for the bus with our children, working at 7-Eleven together, going to Battlefield Park doing cartwheels, Spending New Year’s Eve when it became 1990. That is only few of many that I have. I will always cherish them. Rest in peace my dear friend

I was torn apart to learn the news of Susan's passing, it was such a shock, I still can't believe this happened. She was always so friendly and welcoming, asking Alex to invite his bros up for bonfires and dinners during the summer. Her laugh was always jovial and her presence will be missed very much. My heart goes out to the Childress Clan in their time of need.
