Greg and Family: You may not remember me, but I knew you when you were a young child in Kansas City, Kansas. Stan and I worked together in the late 50's at the Gas Service Company on Armstrong Avenue there. He was such a great friend, and your Mother was also very kind to me. I had walleyed pike on the grill at your house one summer evening (I worked summers between college semesters.) Your Dad was such a humorous guy, always cracking jokes and teasing me. He was also a big help for a young, GREEN office replacement for employee vacationers. I did everything from switchboard to bookkeeping, etc., etc., etc., I always wondered about all of you and of course he couldn't have been more proud of you (or his Father) as I recall. I loved the stories of how he met your Mother. They both attended my wedding. Please know how much he meant to so many of us; I still remember the twinkle in his eye as he pulled a joke on someone. He made the workdays go by very quickly, and he was so patient about giving me a ride to and from every day. You are in my thoughts at this time, but I am sure you are proud to have him buried in Arlington Cemetery with other patriots! Good luck in the future and during this time of sadness.
