It has been an honor to be Stan's friend over the past year and a half. Seems like we were friends longer than that. We hit it off the first time we met. We spent many days talking about and sharing our love of Christ. I learned so much from him. His passion for music was contagious and boy could he sing! He also had a wit for trivia! I was always amazed at what he could remember from decades past!
Even though I never knew Stan when he wasn't wheelchair bound, I never saw his disability. He rarely complained and was always ready to give from the heart. Because of that I, and am sure most of his friends, thought he would be around forever. Well, Stan, my friend, I celebrate your life and am confident in the fact that you are now free from the MD and sitting and the right hand of your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Alleluia! God's will has been done and you are now where we all dream of being, in our heavenly internal home. Thank you for being you and for sharing yourself with all of us. Each one of us is a better person because of you. You helped me grow in my journey and for that I will be ever grateful.
I love you, my friend. I look forward to seeing your smiling face one day.
Love you,
Chris :)
