Ruth Newkirk's Obituary
Ruth J. Newkirk of Boston, Virginia passed away peacefully at her home on July 20, 2017 at age of 58 years old. She was born August 13, 1958 in Albemarle, VA to the late Charles and Roberta Jackson.
Ruth attended Rappahannock High School and was later employed by CINTAS in Culpeper for 27 years. She enjoyed gardening and playing with her grandchildren.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 36 years, James William Newkirk. She was a devoted mother to Jessica Marie Newkirk, and loving grandmother to Adrianna Ruth and James William II.
Ruth is lovingly remembered by her brothers, James William Jackson and his wife Sonja of Centerville, VA and John Haney Jackson and wife Alice of Boston, VA and their children Carsyn and Jonna.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Junior Jackson.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Woodville, VA.
