Ruth Morton Gaunce's Obituary
Ruth Morton Gaunce, 95, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Breezy Knoll Residential Care in Culpeper, VA. She was born April 11, 1923 in Prince Edward County to the late Atkinson and Bertie Gibson Morton.
She is survived by her children, William Gaunce, III of Norfolk, VA, and Barbara Gaunce Gantley (Michael) of Culpeper, VA; grandchildren, Beverly Butler, Megan Oakley, and Lucy Gaunce; great grandchildren, Callie Butler, Gavin Butler, Miles Oakley, and Ruby Oakley.
In addition to her husband, William Gaunce, Jr, Ruth was preceded in death by her siblings, Lewis Morton, Ermil Morton, Ray Morton, and Walter Morton.
