Barbara, I'm not sure if you remember me, my name is Megan Neibert, but I worked at the Nursing home in Culpeper that your mom was at, I was the housekeeper there and I always came in to see your mom and you. This brought tears in my eyes to see this and it breaks my heart. But I know that Ruth is in a better place now and that she is happy and healthy now and no longer in pain. She is a wonderful woman and I am so lucky that I had the chance to meet Ruth. You really brightened my day every time that I saw you when I came into work. Barbara, I hope that you and your family are okay and just know that I am praying for you guys. Your mom had a beautiful heart and was so sweet, and I know that she's watching over all of you and smiling. I'm so happy I got the chance to meet Ruth and your family.

I used to sit with Ruth many a Sunday morning at Third Presbyterian Church in Norfolk, Virginia. She always had "her" pew and her spot in it. She would invite me to sit with her. She always had smiles and kind words for me. She was always interested in what was on my mind, and would listen intently. She also loved talking about her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They meant so much to her. I missed her when she left Third. My condolences to her family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I know she will be greatly missed by all.

I'm sorry to read that Ruth passed away. She definitely lived life to the fullest ... a life marked by love and kindness. She and my Mom were good friends and Mom always talked about riding to Third Presbyterian with Ruth each week and having good chats together. I remember when Ruth lived on Lynn River Road nearby...didn't realize that
she had moved to Culpeper. May God's peace and comfort be yours during this
difficult time. (My Mom was Anne Rucker)
