Russell and I have been very close friends from the time I moved one house away from his house in Bavon. My wife and I enjoyed Russell's visits from Culpeper. He was always here for the Super Bowl Game in my garage with other neighbors and friends. We welcomed him in our home as we would a close relative. He nearly always brought my wife a plant, or seasonal flowers. He was a very thoughtful man. We spent many a Saturday together at yard sales, and enjoyed lots of church breakfasts. He brought his friend Vickie down to meet us. What a nice lady! Because of ill health, we haven't been able to get together much, lately. We did try to keep in touch on the phone We missed him then and will continue to miss him. But he is with the Lord now, and all pain is gone. Harry VanDyne, and Mary
