Rudolf Karl Simon's Obituary
Rudolf Karl Simon, 82, of Culpeper passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community. He was born October 1, 1928 in Karlsbad, Czech Republic to the late Josef and Maria Huss Simon.
He is survived by his wife, Elsbeth M. Simon, two children, Horst R. Simon of North Hollywood, CA, and Christiane E. Robinson and her husband, Bryant L. of Culpeper, and one granddaughter, Tatiana R. Robinson of Ft. Collins, CO.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Marianne Clifton.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
The family will hold a memorial service on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1090 Sterling Rd. Herndon VA 20170. A one hour visitation will be held prior to the service.
