I thank God for Virginia’s life. She suffered a lot, especially in the early parts of her life, but God worked His purposes in all of it.
I got to be with her for the last four and a half years of her life at Our Father’s House. I think her biggest passion in life was people. Towards the end, when she could no longer find pleasure in going out, reading, or watching TV, her favorite thing to do was just talk to people. It seemed she could tell you every detail about the life of every person she’d ever met! I think people fascinated her more than anything else in life.
I’m thankful I got to have Virginia in my life those few years. I miss her.
I thank Jesus that because of His death and resurrection, Virginia can now be with Him forever, and I’ll get to see her again someday. I’m sure she’ll have a whole lot of things to tell me!
