Roy Lee York's Obituary
Roy (Doc) York, 76 of Stafford County, VA, died at his home January 2, 2020.
He was born September 11, 1943 in Mullens, West Virginia. Roy was a hard-working drywaller. He loved to turkey hunt, and enjoyed bowling and going on cruises with his wife and friends. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for over 40 years, where he liked spending time with family and friends.
Roy is survived by his wife of 17 years, Tina M. York; four brothers, Jimmy, Charlie, Richard, and CP; six sisters, Louise, Doris, Betty, Karen Lynn, Bonnie, and Geneva; 10 step-children; and many grandkids and great-grandkids.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Stewart and Clair York; and two brothers, Carl and Bill. He was one of 13 children.
A memorial service will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 21 Cool Springs Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405.
