Richard York
Roy enjoyed hunting spring turkeys most. He could match the moves with the wiliest ole tom! He loved basketball and was up for a contest at the drop of a hat. He enjoyed upland bird hunting and having a trusty Brittany Spaniel to help him get a bag limit. Roy also enjoyed horseshoes, shuttlecock, if you wanted to challenge his skills and put your money where your mouth was he was glad to oblige, very confident in his own ability to beat the odds. He turned his life around when he met Janet Todd and her 9 children, just another challenge he gladly took on. With Roy's marriage to Janet he hooked up sixth her brother Mervin, and brother in law Russell both outstanding drywall finishers. They took Roy under their wings and he learned fast and with his newly found profession he carved out a living for his new family. He was kind but not always predictable, he gave every member of his family headaches at times but Roy loved his families in his own way.
RIP Roy gone but not forgotten!!
