The Ropers were a huge part of my childhood and some of my fondest memories include Roy and always will. Rita was like a second Mom and Diane was the sister I never had. My condolences to the entire family. Roy will always be in my memories and the entire family in my prayers.
I'll always remember going to Uncle Roy's and Aunt Ritas house for football Sundays and the great cookouts we had together spending time with them and Uncle Roy was always laughing or smiling...I will always love you and Remember you till we see you again.
I'll always remember how Uncle Roy and my dad would play cards with Aunt Rita and my mom. Uncle Roy and my dad would cheat all the time and almost never get caught. They would laugh so hard while acting innocent and Aunt Rita and my mom would get so incredibly mad! I also smile thinking of all the time I spent at Uncle Roy and Aunt Rita's house as a young boy. They were certainly my second mom and dad. I'll miss Uncle Roy for sure.
