I am so sad to discover that Roy has passed away. I am helping to update our Mount Vernon HS class of 1972 directory in preparation for a 50th reunion next year. I was in 6th grade with Roy at Woodley Hills Elementary School in Alexandria, and was a HS classmate. He was always kind and went out of his way to say hello when passing in the hallway. I have many fond memories of this lovely person.

I was sorry to hear that Roy had passed. It saddens me. We worked together for years at the Institute of Heraldry. When I would need a friend to talk to he was always the best. May the Lord open the gates for a really good man. I will pray for you and your family.

My knees buckled when I heard about Roy's passing. I still remember the day I met him at Giants on Richmond Highway. I have such wonderful memories of him, his laughter, working with him and his friendship. He was such a great person. May God comfort you at this emotional time.

Roy was one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet! As a new agent with CTI, he was always very patient and helpful. As I got to know him over the years I learned he was a great singer, a loving husband and dog dad! His kind smile will be missed. Rest with God Roy.

I met and became friends with Roy several years ago when he was working the front desk at CTI Real Estate Company located in the Fredericksburg Central Park Shopping Center. Roy always greeted me with a smile along with kind and encouraging words. Roy was
the voice of CTI. Whenever he answered the telephone while I was visiting, his mannerism was courteous and respectful no matter who was on the other end of the line. Many days when I walked into the CTI office, Roy was the first person I saw. Roy and I had many conversations covering various subjects. Roy loved his family, he loved being a part of the CTI family, and he loved talking to people. Roy will be greatly missed by family, friends, associates and loved ones. My prayers go out to Mrs. Cornwell and the Cornwell family.
