A few years ago we had the opportunity to spend a weekend with Robert and Debbie. Robert patiently taught me how to safely use a firearm and gave us a history on radios. It was a fun weekend with a lot of laughs and friendship. We are so incredibly sorry for the world losing someone that was so kind and generous with a great sense of humor. Much love to you all.
I really don’t know what to say but I want to say something. I am Robbie’s cousin from New Orleans. And yes, I am the only one in the universe that still calls him that! His dad and my dad were brothers. We grew up together in “Da Parish!” Although life and distance got in the way, I still like to think that we were close in spirit. And that was confirmed when I reached out to him via email last week when I heard of his diagnosis. It was like no time had passed. We shared some words, thoughts and I could feel the love come through. Although we hadn’t seen each other in a long time, I feel like we connected again and I am very happy about that. You will be missed by all who loved you. Rest in peace sweet Robbie – I know your dad (Uncle Morris), your mom (Aunt Al) and your brother (Morrie) are there welcoming you into heaven with open arms. I will carry you in my heart.

I graduate with Robert from Chalmette High. We were in the band together and had a lot of fun times. Robert was an awesome trombone player. Prayers for all his family, I know he will be greatly missed.
I was so sorry to hear of this. He was one of the good guys. We played in the CHS band together for 4 years and I do not recall Robert ever being mad or sad. My condolences to the family... I've attached a picture of many of his classmates from one of our 1st reunions.
Robert and I went to Chalmette Middle School together and played in the band. We were friends and I lost track of Robert after graduation. I am glad he had a full and happy life. Prayers for his entire family,
His school friend,

Debbie and Becky, we are so sorry for your loss. Bob was a delightful man and know he will be greatly missed. Praying for you both. Take care. Nancy and Graham Cowie
I was a friend who came in contact with Bob in a ham radio chat room before I had my license, I posted a question which Bob was quick to answer, like he always was. That was a few years ago, and we have remained in contact ever since. He gave me advice on technical, operational, equipment issues, etc. and always offered his assistance when asked. I liked his stories of his adventures living on the mountain. I remember how happy he was for me when I finally got my license! I will miss him. R.I.P. my friend.
