Carl remembers many tennis games with Bob over the years. Rona remembers Bob’s sense of humor, sometimes outrageous and unexpected, but always entertaining.
We both remember memories of parenting our daughters who were very good friends during high school. We always had fun when we were together.
Bob will be missed.

Bob Pfile will certainly be missed. I first knew Bob as a dedicated member of the Brandy Station Foundation Board and a tour guide at the Foundation’s Civil War Graffiti House in Brandy Station. Later, beginning in 2012 and continuing for most years until December 2024, Bob played the dulcimer with other members of the Wilderness Run Players at the Foundation’s Holiday Open House event held in December. The two photos attached are Bob wearing a burgundy vest with Bill Wemmerus in 2014; and then Bob with a red vest with the group in 2023. I will remember Bob for his knowledge of the Civil War that he shared with visitors at the Graffiti House, the beautiful music he made with the Wilderness Run Players, and his sense of humor.
