Dear June & Ricky & Patty. We moved to Culpeper in 1972 and met your family soon after. I remember you all so well-and have fond memories of the Saturday night dances in the quonset hut - (I forforgotten the name of the dance hall), where we all had such fun . I was married to Pup (for 40 years) and after the divorce moved away 23 years ago. I have lived in Pensacola, FL for 8 years now. It was great to see that you and Woody have so many grandchildren to share. Good to remember past friendships, but very sorry to have to learn of Woody's death. You posted a great picture of him - and the obit spoke truthfully and well of his great life and service to family and community.

To June, Ricky ,Patty and Family. I am left with many wonderful memories of Carroll ,and would like to share a few with you, No finer meals were ever served on Davis Street than those prepared by the Wednesday Kitchen Gang at Co. 1, Myself, Carroll and PO Dobyns enjoyed great friendships and brotherhood with our fellow Fire and Ems members. We laughed, broke bread together and served the Community together, What Carroll could do with a saucepan .butter and mushrooms was unbelievable.The man could make a ROCK taste great! His smile and humor will be missed by many. He was my friend and I will miss him, Richard Alvey and Family
