My heartfelt condolences to the Kirby Family. I met Regis through his Mother and my Aunt Lenny Caro many years ago. He was a big help when I moved to the DC area. Regis was a very kind soul and may he rest in peace.
I was sorry to hear of your loss. Regis was like a brother growing up. I pray that he rests in peace in his parents arms.
I met Regis and Kaye through a mutual friend probably in 1982. I left the Bureau in 1987, but when I heard this sad news, I immediately thought back to those times. I am sure he and Kaye would not remember me, but there are people we meet in life that are so kind, so genuine, and that is exactly what Regis was. He had a character that is never forgotten and I thank him for that. I know he will be missed.
