Rebecca Elizabeth Gore's Obituary
Rebecca Elizabeth Gore (Becky), 91, went to join her Savior and deceased loved ones on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. She was born October 3, 1925 in Culpeper, VA to Carrie Brown Cook and Fenton Broom Cook.
Becky was married to Richard Franklin Gore (Duck) of Estes, VA in 1942. They celebrated 50 years together before Duck’s death.
Becky is survived by her daughter, Ellen Gore of Castleton, VA and her son, Rick Gore and his wife Deborah of Manassas, VA. Her granddaughters, who were the light of her senior years, Janel Armitage and her husband Wayne of Turkey and Kentucky; Margot Gore and Marisa Gore of Manassas, VA.
In addition to her parents and husband, Becky is preceded in death by her siblings.
Becky’s numerous friends are invited to say good-bye at the visitation on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be held Monday, July 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery, 305 U.S. Avenue, Culpeper, VA 22701.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Castleton Volunteer Fire Department, 593 Castleton View Road, Castleton, VA 22716.
