Although I didn't get to see my Aunt Becky very often in my adult life, while growing up we frequently went to Virginia to visit her and other relatives on the Vook side. I dearly loved Culpeper. I loved all the family there and have so many fond memories of Aunt Becky, Uncle Duck, Ricky and I always loved Ellen because she was my idol in the nursing field. Had it not been for her, I probably would not have gone into nursing and the medical field.
I wish I could have spent more time with her growing up, but will definitely make it a point to stay in closer with she and Ricky as well as my only other two cousins, Sonny and Vivian. Surely we could put together a reunion. I would certainly be willing to come up there.
May Hod bless you Ellen and Rick during this difficult time. I thank God for my Aunt Bevky and Uncle Duck. I remember laying awake many many nights listening to their howls of laughter as they visited, played cards and told stories of days gone by. Oh how I wish those times were recorded.
