Wow! Mr. Weakley was a wonderful man! He delivered wood to me every year when I lived in Alexandria. He knew that I was a single parent and he always looked out for me. I have thought of him often through the years and last week I found his business card. I was going to call and check on him but decided to look him up online and found his obituary. My heart is saddened. He was truly caring. Rest on my friend! You made a huge impact in our lives.
Ray was a friendly woodcutter who really knew his stuff. Once I received two cords of bad wood from another woodcutter. When Ray saw it, he showed me what was wrong with it and then he brought two cords of good wood and piled the old in his truck and took it away. He was here every year for 20 years. He was a familiar face to our family. Rest in peace, Ray. The Parker Family
We have so many wonderful memories that we will always cherish of Uncle Ray; but most of all we will remember his sense of humor and contagious smile. Rest In Peace Uncle Ray.
