Patricia Ann Tetlak Mullins, of Jeffersonton was called home by the Lord on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. She was born in Olean, NY to the late Roman and Florence Kubic Tetlak. Patty was a paramedic with the Little Fork Volunteer F Read Obituary
Ted and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss, everyone's loss. I always held Patty and You, Ted, in such high regard. I'm so glad my family and I took the time to stop by your home last Christmas on our way back to Texas and visit with you and Patty. She was always in my thoughts and I will never forget her kindness and giving spirit.

Patty was not just a neighbor and friend, she was a treasured friend. Her gentle spirit, loving and caring heart always shone thru.
Our famies moved in the neighborhood around the same time. I believe it was a new frontier for all of us. I hadn't met patty yet. I remember going somewhere leaving clothes on the line --it rained. When I came home Patty had taken them off the line for me. This was when the miracle of our friendship began. We had something in common -- we had kids. We shared a lot of good times.
Ted I always enjoyed the several times that Patty, You, Tim and I got together for lunch.
I would like to share this poem by E. Brenneman with you. It has touched my heart and may it be a comfort to you.
Don't think of her as gone away - her journey's just begun, life holds so many facets - this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched...for nothing loved is ever lost - and PATTY was loved so much.

Patty and I were best friends when she lived in Cheltenham, MD. Our children were of similar ages and she and I shared as much as we could together. I remember sitting in our lawn chairs, freezing, in the middle of the night watching a meteor shower, or going for a midnight run to Adams-Morgan in DC for some Ethiopian food. I truly missed her when she moved away, as I do now. My heart and prayers go out to Ted, Andrea and Mike. Love you, Patty! Beth Thibodeau

Never does one feel oneself so utterly helpless as in trying to speak comfort for great bereavement. I will not try it. Time is the only comforter for the loss of a wife, a friend.

Hello Ted and Family,
I am sad to receive the news of Patty's passing and sends my sympathy and love to your family. I remember the first time I met Patty through Ted at one of the many Berlex cohort gatherings back in the 90's in San Francisco Bay Area. I can remember Patty's great sense of humor and great smile, and the love of Ted's life. I am also glad we were able to meet up in Virginia for lunch one afternoon in 2000 while I was in the D.C. area. So many years ago, but have I will always treasure the fond memories in my heart.
