Panie Molly Scott's Obituary
Panie Scott, 81, of King George County, VA passed away peacefully Thursday evening, December 20, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was born on May 26, 1937 in King George to the late Louis and Linda Chakalakis. Mrs. Scott served the local community by working at Mary Washington College for over 30 years. Panie finally retired from this job to help raise her grandchildren and care for her husband. She was a lifetime member of Mountain View Baptist Church, and enjoyed nothing more than helping her family and friends.
Panie is survived by her three sons, Steve Houchin (Robin), Chris Scott (Jody), and Robert “RC” Scott (Janet); her loving husband of 45 years, Robert Scott; and her four grandchildren to whom she dedicated much of her life.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Panie was an extraordinary woman who sacrificed more for others than most. She was a fighter with a kind soul who valued family above all else. We miss you, Granny.
