I think of you so often. I remember having the best time as teens, making music, and dreaming about where music could take you. You were a great friend and I miss you alot. I hope the best for your children and family. You are remembered and missed.
I am sad to know of the loss of Omar, whose memory yet remains in those of us whose lives crossed paths with his. I had the fortune of playing viola in a school orchestra that included Omar on cello. Even then, his singing voice was awe-inspiring. The music never stops, even when breaths cease.

I knew Omar briefly in the 90's. We played music together and he was one of the sweetest people I've met. I'm so sorry to have missed the memorial service and hope that your family has found some peace over the past months. He was a wonderful person and the world lost a beautiful voice.
Omar. I am so sorry to have heard about your passing too late to attend your funeral. I will always cherish the time we spent together discussing life and love and the Gospel. You experienced so much pain and heartache in this life, but you were still always so hopeful and faithful. You taught me the meaning of compassion. Thank you. Omar always had a positive outlook on life, even when in the midst of trying situations. He will always be an example of someone who actively chose to respond positively, no matter what. I appreciate the light and the joy that he brought to the days that I got to interact with him this past year!
Omar had such a beautiful voice. I so enjoyed hearing him sing. I can only imagine him being a part of a heavenly choir.
Omar was in our Sunday School class, and I always looked forward to having him there, contributing to the discussion with his unique insight and way of expressing himself. He touched those of us who got to know him, even a little bit. I feel honored to have met Omar. He will be remembered as we look forward to seeing him again.
I met Omar a few months ago at church and was so touched by his friendliness and his warm spirit. I cherish that memory of him, I only wish I could have spent more time with him. I know that I will see him again, I look forward to that.
