Nona Davis Hicks, 69, of Fredericksburg, died Friday Feb 8, 2019 at Mary Washington Hospital, losing her courageous battle against cancer. She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Garland E. “Biff” Hicks; her son, John Read Obituary
Gee, we just learned that Nona had passed away. Being away from Richmond almost 9 years, we don't get the news about IBMers that we used to get. Nona was a sweetheart, so sorry she had to succumb to such a dreaded disease. Biff you are in our thoughts and prayers.

This quote is so rich to ponder and could be said of anyone who lived a full and fulfilling life. Surely Nona would be able to declare that she too poured out herself in everything that she did.

Nona was such a delightful individual during our high school years. Ever so sweet, caring and compassionate in all circumstances. Although I hadn't seen her in over 50 years, I can still remember her smile and kind friendship like it was yesterday. My prayers and thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.
