Jr. was my favorite uncle. In 1968, I went to Alexandria and spent the summer with Cassie & Jr. and had a wonderful time. In 1969, I stayed with them again while I worked for the FBI in D.C. In 1970, I joined the Air Force because Jr. and my aunt were Air Force Veterans. Jr. was a kind and gentle man; he seemed like a second father to me. He taught me to tie my lst tie; bought my first shrimp and beer at Lum's in Alexandria and I spent much time with him and Cassie during the many trips to Pikeville. Cassie and Jr. were like bread is to butter....wonderful. I will truly miss him!!!
