I was saddened to hear this news of Terry! A good cop, great detective, and was honored to have work with him! I remember he had many photos of Ryan in his office and shared many stories of Ryan playing football as well as other milestones growing up. He was a proud papa with a funny sense of humor!

Terry was our neighbor he became family without trying myself and my wife gained a male role model after losing both our fathers. He took our daughter and treated her like one of his. RIP Papa Terry
I consider Terry a brother not just a brother-in-law. I have fond memories of Us fishing, having cookouts, family reunions, and Holiday gatherings. I believe Terry would help just about anybody that needed it. I remember him and Debbie coming over when we lived on edger Street. Terry knew how much I hated painting. So he took it upon himself to paint the kitchen window and door. I also remember Terry taking Sabrina across the street to the tennis courts and playing tennis at that time she was on the High School tennis team. I would have liked to have seen Terry one last time before he got real bad with his health but my health was not that good the last two years. I lost out. I would like to have seen him one more time as is old self and that's how I will remember him. I know he's up there taking care of my girls and the rest of the family. Why is it always the Good Die Young. My love to everyone.
Terry was a great friend and we had wonderful times at the police department together from our academy days to retirement. Always enjoyed our chats. Condolences to Debbie, Ryan and family.
It was my honor to have known and worked with Terry. We had so many laughs at work and on the golf course. Terry was always there to help me in any situation when I was a rookie detective. A great friend, great cop, and great American.

We became neighbors at Silver Oaks in Leesburg in 1990. I sooo much enjoyed parking the Leesburg Police cruiser in front of your house and having all those non police supporters throw their beer bottles in YOUR yard!
Donna and I treasure the boat trips with you and Debbbe and traveling to Ocean City, Maryland and Nashville.
Terry was a stand up guy and always willing and wanting to help his fellow man or woman. In fact, I would watch him at different places where he would immediately jump to his feet to open a door for someone or help a server at a restaurant by helping them with a tray of food. If someone dropped something, look out - Terry was coming to pick up the item and reunite it with it’s rightful owner. Whatever it was, Terry was going to help out. It was his nature and something we don’t see much of these days.Truly a good man with a golden heart or as I called him in the later years, “The Silver Fox.”
Ryan, take joy in the knowledge that your Dad was able to watch you grow in to a man, a decent man and start your life and know he was proud of you.
The Wolff Family joins the Turner Family in celebrating the life of Terry and what he stood for. Yes. It tears away at our hearts losing him but we take great pride knowing he’s at a better place, he’s at peace and looking down on all of us until we see him again one day.
