I am praying for your family and for all those who loved Mel during this most difficult time. Mel was a kind and caring soul, always thinking of others. Mel once stopped at Cracker Barrell and saw that I was admiring a little, white stuffed animal Schnauzer - a "Webkinz." I had once had a little dog like that as a child, and it was bringing back memories for me. Mel didn't even hesitate. He took that Webkinz Schnauzer right up to the register and paid for it, then gave it to me. I named it Mel and it sits on my nightstand to this day. I'll miss you Mr. Mel. - 'Chele

My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. Mr. Morris (as I always called him, against his objections) was my boss at my first job in 1976 when he and Ms. Judy owned Jeff Davis Mobile Home Sales. I worked in office with Debbie Morgan. He was a great boss, always had time for his employees and made an office job anything but boring! I was with them for a year, when an opportunity came my way for a job lending itself to a career. He sat me down, and informed me that if not take the chance, he'd have to let me go! His quote " you are not living if you don't take a chance". How true those words have proven to be. Godspeed friend on your new journey. Mary "liz" Morgan
Joe and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of Uncle Jake. He was always kind and sweet to me whenever I would see him. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
With Love,
Angie (connie's sister)
