July 31, 2016, a beautiful summer day, heaven’s gate opened wide to welcome Melinda home. She was a patient at UVA Transitional Hospital, Hospice Unit since June 7, 2016. Prior to UVA she resided with her sister and brother in Cul Read Obituary

Melinda was always such a caring sole. She cared for her siblings as only she could. Doing whatever she could for them. She was an animal lover also. She loved people and they loved her. In Heaven, there will be no pain and suffering. She is whole again.
RIP Melinda, you are a loving, caring, giving soul. You were ALWAYS the first person to welcome me to The Place during my visits. We are going to finish your puzzle and hang it on the wall. My love and prayers go out to the family. Barbara Rhodes
