Yesterday while clearing out my bookshelves, I came across Marvin's book "Breaking Grand Silence". It had never been opened and when I went to bed I read it through from cover to cover. His bravery, honesty, and life are an inspiration to me. I was ordained the same year as he and left to marry after 11 years of 'training' and 30 in imaginative ministry. We celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this year of 2022. I have just had breakfast and am impelled to write this before the day busily unfolds. How I wish we could have corresponded. I was born in the USA and now live in Australia. Words fail me in expressing my emotions. My sympathies to Donna and your two daughters and son.

Was just prompted by a TV programme that showed a Massey Ferguson tractor to look up Marv, who my late father Harry Masson (RIP March 2012) worked for in Coventry, England. I have a fond memory of Marv and Donna joining me (a teenager) and my parents for a Burn's dinner and dance held by the Scottish society our family were members of. Marv dressed in a kilt with a jacobean shirt was an impressive site. Both Donna and Marv were a lovely couple who embraced our strange Scottish customs. I can't believe it was 30 years ago.

I was just informed about Marv's passing albeit occurring months ago.
Marv and I first became friends in the early 80's when we both were employed by Massey Ferguson, and worked in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
He was a very talented man who I personally enjoyed knowing and working with.
My sincere personal condolences go out to all in Marv's family.
May he Rest In Peace.

We met Marv and Donna about 3yrs. He always had a smile on his face and a very sweet man. Almost everyday I would see Marv and Donna sitting on their front porch enjoying time together. Our deepest condolences to the family. I know Marv will be missed by so many. ~Combs Family~
