Maria Gallahan, 84, of Boston, VA died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at her residence. She was born November 13, 1930 in Augsburg, Germany to the late Johann and Maria Huber. She is survived by her husband, Frank M. Gallahan; one son, Read Obituary
Maria truly cared for so many people (We have saved the beautiful, soft blankets that she knit for our little ones.) Our thoughts and our prayers go out to you, Frank. We are sorry for the loss of this sweet, sweet woman.

Maria was always a breath of sunshine and a joy to all who knew her. Always smiling, always full of life. She knew no stranger and welcomed everyone.

Such sadness in my heart. I was 8 years old when Frank Gallahan with his new family, came to live across the street from us on Potomac Avenue. Walter, Sonja and I went to the same schools. I remember Maria always had a smile to give.
