LCpl Marc L. Plotts, USMC's Obituary
LCpl Marc Leeland Plotts, USMC, 20, of Fredericksburg passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
Marc proudly joined the United States Marine Corps October 15, 2007 was an Iraq War Veteran and Squad Leader. He attended Stafford High School.
Marc is survived by his parents, Lee-Ann and Calvin (Buzz) Forsythe of Fredericksburg and Gary Plotts of Ridley Park, PA; two brothers, Douglas Plotts and Gary Plotts, Jr.; a step-brother, Kyle Forsythe; a half-sister, Madison Plotts; his grandparents, Sandy and Howard Painter of Schuylkill Haven, PA and his Brothers in Arms; 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, Weapons Co. MCBH Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
Marc’s family will receive friends Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg,
A funeral service will be held Friday, April 9, 2010 at 2:30 pm in the Marine Memorial Chapel, 3251 Embry Loop, Quantico, VA with Chaplain Maurice A. Buford officiating. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
