The Marines at School of Infantry West, Detachment Hawaii send their sympathies to the family and friends of LCpl Marc L. Plotts. Know that here we are celebrating his life rather than mourning his death. Marc was an outstanding Marine - a title than no one will ever take from him - not even now. Vicki and I will miss Marc. It was great to have Marc in our group during high school. He is a great and fun guy to have around. I remember when Marc prayed to accept God's forgiveness for his sins. I am sure, because of that faith, Marc is now in heaven. We were proud of him, as I am sure you were also.
