Bob, My sister Donna Boyd let me know that your mother had died. How well I remember her and her gentle kindness. I enjoyed stopping by Culpeper Pharmacy to see her, and I was glad she didn't chase me off when I appeared at your house down the block from ours in Grand View. You have been fortunate to have had her with you for so long. My best to your family and to John.
Bob, Nancy, Mike, Marty, & Travis--you are all in my heart and in my prayers. Some of my happiest times in life included "growing up" at Alum Spring and being "guided" by Louise, Aunt Annie, Aunt Mildred, Velta Dodson, and Lucy Jenkins through Girls in Action and Acteens. I learned a lot about the importance of family and the meaning of "Together we stick, Divided we're stuck" and that chicken casserole and cake mix cookies are necessary comfort foods in life!! Hold tight to each other and to the many, many positive memories you are fortunate enough to have created throughout the years.
