Lily Mae Oesterheld's Obituary
Lily Mae Oesterheld, 80, of Fredericksburg passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Her faith and family were her top priority and she loved her grandchildren.
Lily is survived by five sons, Jerry Oesterheld and his wife, Sherri of Fredericksburg, William Oesterheld and his wife, Karin of Germany, and Dennis Oesterheld, John Oesterheld and his wife, Donna and Timothy Oesterheld, all of Fredericksburg; a sister, Delores Dillard of Fredericksburg; three grandchildren, Derek, Stephen and James; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward O. Oesterheld.
Lily’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Spotswood Baptist Church, 4009 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Lily’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Spotsylvania Baptist Church, 4009 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 (Please note in memo-Love Pantry).
