Jerry (and entire O family),
Our prayers are with you. John & Laurie elder
Dear Family,
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you and I rejoice that many years ago our loving Heavenly Father knit our hearts together. Because of His great love, our family has been blessed through the years by your family and I count every memory precious. Please know how grateful I am to have shared a friendship with your mother. She was one of my dearest friends and prayer partners and I will miss her greatly. However, each day, since I learned she went to be with Jesus, I have rejoiced that she is where she longed to be, and that is with her Savior. I am a better woman because of the way Lily Mae influenced my life. We encouraged each other in our walk with Him and now she is spending time with Him face to face.
The service today was an outstanding tribute to her and to her love for our Lord. We cannot imagine what joy she is experiencing, but I know she will be there to welcome us when we get to make that remarkable journey.
I will continue to pray for each of you as you adjust to her earthly absence, but will pray that our God of all comfort will daily remind you of His care for her and for you, and will bring to mind those many precious memories that will bring joy to your hearts from now until we are all together at His throne.
Please remember that each of you holds a special place in my heart and I will continue to treasure our relationship as sisters and brothers because of the mercy of our gracious and loving King, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Thank you for allowing me to feel part of your family. I love you more than words can say!

Lily Mae had all the virtues of a Christian woman. She was the most patient woman I have ever known. When life knocked her down,She picked herself up,When we thought we were going to lose her, she surprised us and carried on with her gentle demeanor and her sweet smile, driving herself to church as long as she had an ounce of strength. I can think of no person I will ever miss more.Goodby Lily Mae,until we meet again.

My Aunt Lil was very very special to me!!! I remember her and Uncle Odell's farm growing up and when I think of Aunt Lil I only have wonderful loving memories. She lived the life Christians are to live. She was so loving, caring and kind to all! Her & my mom were (mom still is) the kindest most thoughtful women in the whole wide world!! Thru my many tears shed I know she is in heaven awaiting our arrival and enjoying her peaceful pain free life we all so look forward to having also one day. Oh to be in the arms of Jesus... how I know she is :) Really loved her and will miss her terribly until I see her again one day...
Memories of knowing Lily Mae and her late husband, Eddie, hold a special place in my heart. My late husband, Clarence, worked with Eddie many years in the aviation field and this gave both our families the happy and rewarding opportunity to share mutual interests and hobbies. Lily Mae and I had a deep interest and respect in gardening and flowers and each gave and learned so much from the other. She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her and she will be missed by many.
