Lenora Queen's Obituary
Lenora Mae (Nomay) Queen, 56 of Fredericksburg, departed this life early Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She leaves in loving memory a son, Darrell Queen, Sr., and a daughter, NaKeisha Queen, both of Spotsylvania County; two grandchildren, Darrell Queen, Jr. (DJ) of King George County and Dominique Quan Harris of Spotsylvania; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Lewis; two step-grandchildren, Gerald Lewis, Jr. and his wife, Chasity and Desiree’ Lewis, all of Spotsylvania; her mother, Margaret Christopher; eight sisters, Deborah, Jerlean, and Juanita Christopher, Deloris Finnie and her husband, John, Vera Craig, Estelle Peterson and her husband, Howard, Jean Williams and her husband, George and Vivian Brooks; two brothers, Paul Christopher and his wife, Vivian, and Lindsey Washington, Sr. and his wife, Carol; a sister-in-law, Millie Queen and five brothers-in-law, Charles Queen and his wife, Beth, Richard, Mark, Thomas and James Mitchell; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Lewis, Ricky and Thomas; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Nomay’s family will receive friends Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 9:00-10:30am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels – Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg with at funeral service following at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
