It was a privilege and a pleasure to have known Lecie all the years we knew and loved one another. She became my friend after I married her husband's nephew. We shared many hours together about our relationships with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I knbow she loved God with all her heart, mind and soul, and was a godly example to me, her children, grandchildren and her peers. She bore the fruit of the Holy Spirit every day. She was full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,gentleness, faithfulness and self control. I saw all of those traits exemplied in her life. She left behind a legacy of faith that is something that we would all be blessed to make our goal in life.
Grannie was the sweetest, kindest, most gentle, generous person I have ever known. She was the best role model anyone could have. She said for years she was ready when the Lord called her home. If anyone would ever go to heaven it would be my Grannie. She is certainly in heaven reaping her rewards. "Good job, my good and faithful servant, good job!!", must be the words Jesus greeted her with. I love you and miss you dearly Grannie.
