My husband and I enjoyed many special events and outings with Iris and Larry Corbin. My favorite outing was in Washington DC where we visited the war memorials. At the Korean memorial, Larry was frequently stopped and thanked for his service. Larry was serenaded by a group of young women visiting from Spain, and Larry was stopped by parents from S Korea who brought their two young children specifically to the Korean Memorial to pay respects. The father told his children to thank Larry for his service, “this man saved our country.” May Larry finally rest in peace with beautiful Iris as I know she’s been waiting at the gates for him.
